Introduction

In this guide, we will walk you through the process of adding bays using the Truckbays platform to enhance your overall experience in managing your lot.

Before getting started

We will address some frequently asked questions about adding bays.

What information do I need to provide when adding a bay?

You will need to provide the bay size, reservation type (daily or monthly), bay number, and a bay identifier (if applicable).

Can I add multiple bays at a time?

Yes, you will need to provide a starting and ending number for the series of bays. For example, if you enter bay 50 as the start and bay 100 as the end, the system will automatically create and list all bays from 50 to 100.

Can I edit a bay after it has been created?

Yes, you can edit a bay in the Bays tab and change its status, reservation type, and size. Please note that you cannot delete a bay after it has been created. To ensure no one reserves a bay, set its status to "inactive.”

Can I set custom pricing for different bays?

Please note that pricing is based on each reservation and is not assigned to a specific bay. To offer custom pricing or a temporary discount to customers, use our "Price Points" and "Coupons" features.

Is there a limit to the number of bays I can add?

There is no limit to the number of bays you can add on the Truckbays platform. You can manage as many bays as your facility requires.
