What does editing the price of a Fee do?
Keep in mind that we are editing the maximum dollar amount a person can be charged for committing a violation. This is not the amount they will be charged every time; that is determined in the "Tickets" tab.
What is the maximum price of a Fee?
The maximum price a fee can be adjusted to is $500. This is for legal reasons.
Can I change the maximum fee amount for different types of violations?
Yes, you can set different maximum fees for different types of violations bases on the severity, but none can exceed the $500 limit.

How to adjust the price for Fees.
Learn how to adjust the price for fees efficiently with Truckbays. This guide will walk you through accessing settings, editing fees, and managing tickets. Streamline your process and ensure accurate adjustments with these step-by-step instructions.
1. Click "Settings" from the main dashboard
Access the settings menu.
2. Click "Edit" next to the fee you would like to adjust.
Select the edit option on the fee you would like to adjust.
3. Here you can see the current late fees.
This is the current price of the fee.
4. Adjust the fee how you would like.
Enter the desired new fee price.
5. Click "Save changes" once you have finished.
Save the changes made.
6. To verify the change has taken effect select "Tickets".
Access the tickets section.
7. Click "Add Ticket" to open the ticket menu.
Select the option to add a new ticket.
8. Click "Select a penalty fee" to veiw all fines.
Choose the penalty fee option.
9. Click the fine you adjusted. In this exapmple it was "Late Fees"
Navigate to the Late Fees section.
10. And you can now see it has changed from 500$ to 200$
You can see the maximum value has changed. Note this is not the amount a customer will be charged per ticket only the maximum amount.
11. You can now proceed with the updated fee price as normal.
