Introduction
The Customers tab in Truckbays houses essential customer information, including contact details, transaction history, and preferences. It also tracks invites sent for onboarding customers. This tab boosts yard management efficiency by centralizing data, eliminating the need for cross referencing and enhancing security.
Before getting started
The "Customers" tab displays only "Invited" and "Active" customers. Here are some common questions with the “Customers” tab.
Is the “Customers” and “Bays” tab the same?
No, while they share some similarities, the customer tab displays specific information about truckers and drivers. This includes fleet details, invoices, all active reservations, and personal details, among others. This is different from the reservation tab, which only provides information about a specific reservation on a particular bay.
Will the “Customers” tab only show fleet managers?
No, the 'Customers' tab displays both drivers and fleet managers. When you select 'View Details', you will see the role assigned to the customer, either 'Fleet Manager' or 'Driver'. Additionally, under the 'Fleet Info' tab, you can view all drivers added by a customer.

What is the Customers tab?

Explore various functionalities within the Customers tab in Truckbays. From viewing customer details to managing invitations, this guide will assist you in navigating through the features efficiently.
1. To access the Customers tab, from the main dashboard select "Customers" on the left.

2. Here you can see all of your customers. To see more information on a customer select "View Details".

4. By clicking "Fleet Info" you can see all vehicles and drivers a customer has on file.

6. Click "Log of Access" to see gate access history. Also click "Chat with customer" to innitiate a chat with any customer.
